The invaders' tour shirt. The front is a postcard from Woking. The back lists six dates along the route in the novel, from the landing at Horsell Common to the final date on Primrose Hill, with the result of each in red. The artwork is genuinely antique: Henrique Alvim Corrêa's illustrations for the 1906 Brussels edition of H. G. Wells's The War of the Worlds, long in the public domain. We restore the scans, build the composition and set the type in-house.
